Product Description:
The POM acetal delrin gear wheel is made from POM, also known as Polyformaldehyde. POM is a high-density, high crystalline, and linear polymer that is often referred to as “Plastic Steel.” It offers excellent wear resistance, high hardness, impregnation resistance, good rigidity, chemical stability, isolation resistance, and dimensional stability. POM has a wide range of applications in the automotive industry, electronic and electric products, commodities, pipeline and fittings, precision instruments, and more. It can be used as a substitute for bronze, zinc, tin, and other metals.

There are two main types of POM: POM-H and POM-C. POM-H is a copolymer of POM and ethylene oxide, which enhances its high crystalline structure, mechanical strength, and rigidity. On the other hand, POM-C has a lower melting point, temperature stability, fluxion characteristic, and machining capability. POM-H+PTFE is a variant of POM-H that incorporates Teflon fiber. It offers low friction coefficient, good lubrication, wear resistance, and non-creepage resistance.
